Privacy Policy

Welcome to PopPals! This privacy policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect no personal information. The only data that leaves the device is anonymous technical crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics) and minimal ad-serving data from Google AdMob, both described below. Everything else stays on the device:

• Crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) when the app stops unexpectedly — non-identifying technical details like device model, OS version, and stack traces
• Optional non-fatal error logs sent to Firebase Crashlytics when something goes wrong during play
• Non-personalized ad delivery via Google AdMob — requests are child-directed and content-rated G; the SDK may process device identifiers only for ad delivery and frequency capping, never personalization
• Local game progress (levels unlocked, stars, coins, settings) stored on the device
• Local-only play events (e.g., levels completed) kept for the on-device Parent Dashboard

This technical data is used only to:

• Diagnose crashes and improve stability
• Save and restore game progress
• Show a simple play summary in the Parent Dashboard

We do not sell personal data, and we run no analytics or tracking SDKs. Crash reports are processed by Google's Firebase Crashlytics, a sub-processor bound by its own privacy contract, solely to help us diagnose and fix crashes. Ads are served by Google AdMob, an ad SDK certified for the Google Play Families program; every ad request is child-directed and non-personalized, so no personal information or browsing behaviour is ever used to target your child.

Crash reports are retained by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Ad-serving identifiers are handled entirely by Google's ad systems under their own privacy and retention policies. Local game saves stay on the device until the app is uninstalled.

PopPals is designed for children aged 3+. We do not knowingly collect personal information that identifies a child (such as name, email, or location). The only data transmitted is anonymous technical crash reporting and non-personalized ad-serving data — neither contains personal identifiers.
